 written by ampm , January 25, 2010 It surprises me how witness have very little knowledge of the organization we belong to. We should take the time to read and acquire knowledge of how bethel functions, before we speak. Let me just share a little experience: Some years ago I was giving a tour of bethel to a family, one of the sisters on the tour asked me; "what do you brothers do on your free time hear at bethel" with out letting respond she said "you probably get together with other bethelites and sing kingdom praises". That really made me laugh. Read for instance the personal experiences of some Governing Body members and you will find out that some of the new member have children. I totally with all the information that is published here, but I will never close my eyes to others opinions. I love the Bible and I will always be faithful to Jehovah and his word the Bible, never to men. I respect the organization, but COMPLETELY DISAGREE with some of it's policies. report abuse

 written by Jess K , February 06, 2010 Any religion who thinks that they are the truth are only fooling themselves. God knows it all, we dont. It explains in the bible not to trust in human doctrines. I personally trust God alone, because in the end it is God that will save me not a religion. Many religions claim to be able to interpret the Bible but I have learnt to trust God alone. I KNOW THAT MY HUMAN UNDERSTANDING OF GOD IS LIMITED. I no longer go to church, I am afraid of being taught something that is not from God but from a man. I know in my heart that God is real and I can be close to Him without going to church. I feel His beautiful Holy Spirit every day and God is with me. Like it says in the Bible GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN MAN MADE TEMPLES. He dwells in our hearts, PRAISE GOD. He is truly awesome and all my hope is in God through HIs son Jesus and I will never put my hope in a human opinion but in God alone. Love to you all. Remember YOU are worthy of God if you TRUST IN HIM. Love will show you the way but dont believe all that man says or even your own thoughts. report abuse
